Who we are

Charlie Derbyshire      David Devine

A mixed hockey Club welcoming players of all standards- especially beginners! An excellent group of captains can help you pick up a stick for the first time or to fine tune the skills you already have! Training occurs every Wednesday at 9pm at the Armitage alongside campus league matches on a Sunday afternoon. For those looking for more serious hockey we also have a team playing in the national medics league.

Our club has a well established and enjoyable social scene allowing you to get to know medics of all years, and relax from a tough week of placement or PBL. We also host tours to other UK medical schools throughout the Year. MMHC is a great society and has been a huge part of our Uni experience over the past few years, so we’re really excited to be running the club this coming year, and hope you’re all looking forward to it as much as we are!

Your Co-Presidents,

P.S. See you at Squirrels xx

Most of you have probably seen the England Hockey statement that all hockey will be suspended from at least November 5th to December 4th. As a result Wednesday 5th will be the last session we have in a while, but we will let you know once we can have more sessions in the future.

Look after yourselves over lockdown, and we’ll see you all when things start back up again.
